I can share from experience that it can be an exciting and challenging journey to start a new business. However, getting it off the ground and actually conducting business requires a lot of dedication, sacrifice and hard work. In addition to being able to create a compelling and effective product or service, an entrepreneur also needs to have the necessary skills to lead their company. One of the most important factors that an entrepreneur should consider is having a strong online brand.

- You can also consider creating a website using your name. This is something I was initially against at first, but after consulting with a Branding Consultant I am glad that I did. I found that people were able to connect with me by reading my blogs and reposting articles. These monthly practices increased my following and organic awareness. I have found that when people believe in a person, they’re much more likely to believe in the vision.
Looking back, I wish I would have been more receptive to building my online presence from day one. I admit for some of us it feels outside of our comfort zone, but it’s the professional world that we live in and almost a must to be successful in todays fast moving world.
